Professional Hairstylist & Makeup Artists

WOW Hair

As a licensed hairstylist for the past 30 years (yes, I’m fucking old - but I act young so it cancels each other out), I have always believed that if you know how to work hair, with experience you can make any head of hair look good.

Lately, I have been following JLo’s hairstylist, Chris Appleton and watching his YouTube channel. He’s authentic, cheeky, makes you laugh and the hair he does is gorgeous.

Chris is a celebrity hairstylist and the Global Creative Director of Color Wow.

I wanted to put the Color Wow brand to test. Do you really get that celebrity star-quality from hair products? Simply: Oui

Color Wow Dream Filter is quite literally, a magical spray ideal for lacklustre hair that’s been dulled by mineral build-up. Think old piping, copper, calcium, iron, chlorine, etc. These deposit in our kettles, it only makes sense that they would wittingly cling to our hair.

These are images of before and after haircuts without colour services, only using the Color Wow Dream Filter. Yes, these hairstyles have had highlights by me during previous appointments, but not on these days. In fact, the highlights were done months prior.

Amazing, right!?

I have been slowly playing around with more Color Wow products and I have yet to try one that I’m not keen on.

The Dream Cocktails are my next go-to for styling hair. They can be layered and used together or to target specific needs.

Color Wow recommends that you start with Dream Cocktail Kale-Infused first if you choose to layer.
